Educators are invited to explore 20th century topics like wartime, immigration, civil rights, and more at our next in-person Act-48 program, “20th Century Life and Leisure at Kennywood,” on Monday, May 2. Archivists will present to and partner with teachers to create history lessons by using primary sources from the vast holdings of the archival Kennywood Park Records collection. By the end of this hands-on workshop, each teacher will have access to two sets of activities and lessons through the Smithsonian Learning lab.
